Letters to Obama #1: Running Out of Time

The letters to Obama project is a storytelling project that invites people to write letters to the president and collaborate with a filmmaker to turn that letter into a short video. These stories are being collected as a document of who we are at this unique moment in history. In the first installment we meet Jananie. She lost her job at as a guest relations manager at a high end hotel in 2008. She has recently been staying with a friend but will soon have to move. She spends each day searching for jobs and dealing with her fear that she will soon be forced to live on the street.
