Nah.. It was written by Damita Bass (known now as Damita Haddon), who was one of the group members. She does most of the lead on the song, and as you listen you can definitely recognize the younger Damita.
This song was later recorded by Tri-City on the Bible Stories project. A vamp was added by D. Lawrence on that version.
