This is most certainly a landmark film. I bought a copy after seeing parts of it on u-boob. A lot of beautifully restored archive footage is used. Peter Kuran's special effects are awesome. He's responsible for the special effects in movies like Star Wars, Star Trek II and V, Robocop, Addams Family. Narrated by William Shatner. Music by William Stromberg performed by the Moscow Symphony. Rent it or buy it. It's riveting.
