Five stars. I wish there were more to give.
By the end of this song, I am completely undone; it reminds me so much of my grandparents (with whom I spent so many happy Christmases) and my father (now five years gone). By Christ, I miss them all so much, and all the joy we all shared at the holidays.
But I wouldn't trade it for all the wealth on earth, I swear I wouldn't. Never.
I don't care how "politically incorrect" people say Christmas is. I love it and will celebrate it.

@sterlingrose33 Know exactly how you feel, having just endured the worst two years of my life. Christmas makes it all better, because it was always when the people that I loved and respected were at their best. This song and the Miller beer Christmas commercial with the sleigh ride(my mothers favorite-also on you tube)always help me remember that.

@donaldinks Why don't you lay some of your education on us all then?

Beautiful song

You are SO sorely uneducated as to
what"Principles" this Nation was truly founded upon.
However, IF it makes you feel better to "believe" (and NOT KNOW)..
just continue to be happy, content...and ignorant.
Meanwhile, kudos for putting one of the greatest versions of "Silent Night" up on YouTube.

I don'y know why,But I ball my eyes out every time i hear this song..Im a 54 yr old male. Its so beautiful...
What a beautiful video. This version of Silent Night was used as the background for a 9/11 tribute. At a time when communists are imposing their anti-Christ attitudes on a counry founded on Judaism and Christianity, this is deeply needed to remind us that He was born, He died and rose from death so we coulc, and He reigns--always. Thank you, Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.

Yes, I saw that 9/11 tribute back in September. This song (I think) reminds us that giving thanks for the things we have isn't hard, is free and is a wonderful thing to do. You too, and whoever reads- Merry Christmas and have a wonderful wonderful holidays.
