Beth, I agree. Most of the things I don't need to buy, but if I did, I think I would still buy them...I'm not one to snub new technology but if I don't need it, well, I don't need it.

From an SLR fan, I will agree with you for the convenience, etc., P&S is the way to go

There are a few things I totally agree on and some that I don't. External hard drives are absolutely necessary. Digital cameras are necessary, but I may go through 2010 without getting a new one ;) I have to keep my land line because one doc refuses to get rid of the fax machine. I would totally buy energy efficient appliances if I needed them for sure!

Whoops! I wrote this while Shawn was still logged in.

Barb, I am slowly getting into the whole more video thing. Yes, the list is a bit interesting, but the sucker definitely wins!

Interesting list! It's curious how they come up with these things. That sucker is really killing me...give it to me...I want it! Love butterscotch! Glad you are making more videos! xo
I didn't agree with the external hard drive or the camera thing either. I'm one of those unfortunate people that don't have true high speed internet. No way would my internet be able to transfer all the data I use in a day. And compact and SLR cameras both have their uses. But for versatility and convenience factor, I'll take a good point and shoot any day.

Dave: I hear you. I've never been one to have to have the best up and coming technology thing. I just like to keep things simple.

We're terrified of getting rid of our landline!! So well done. May follow suit this year. Hope xmas and new year has been great for you. We're covered in snow in London right now.

Matt: I wish we had snow here. Nothing all winter and probably won't get anything in the near future. Maybe next Christmas we will have our fair share.
