@TasLon7 Yeah, sure. That's what happened. The whole city turns on a dime for media footage...
Somehow... that doesn't corroborate with all of the images on FLICKR from EUROPEAN TOURISTS showing a well lit Pyongyang at random times of the night on random dates, year after year.

@The3rdPlateau Cont 3
Like i said the miscegenation in Japan and other asian countries is high because of western presence so this changes the average biotype, but as we can know well, the average native of asia is shot and thin no matter if woman or man.
About the generations crime, this is not expressed in the constitution so nothing can be stated about that unless that we have the substantiation of this thing. We can say without doubt is in western the family of a prisoner is discrimated.

About education, the example that makes clear government control about education is the existence of Department of Education, or Ministry of Education in the countries (the name can change but the purpose is the same).
About NK citzens biotype the answer is easy, but first you must know the NK have the most homogenous people. If you get the native normal japanese, SK, laotian, chinese and other asian countries they will have same biotype but in that countries the miscegenation is high. Cont 3

@The3rdPlateau Cont TWO
Like my personal experience in western systems, its very easy and happens every day that elected politicians (90% elelected with big companies money, a undemocratic way) using the goverment in benefit of himselves or in benefit of Wall street companies.
About education you said the govenment controls, but i have a question: Who controls the education in US? The government. Who controls in EU? The goverment.
Government controls the educational content IN EVERY PLACE.
-
4° They govern themselves! If the people didnt accepts the government they will fight against them its a historical fact with a lot of examples, one of the newest was the Egyptian case. Now i ask how Kim Jong il can benefit himself if he holds no posession. Its different in US where there is a lot of cases that a President of a member of government favored some companies because the owners was relatives or politicians of the same party, or great friends. (Cont TWO).

@The3rdPlateau Like you said, there is RUMORS....... not facts. The fact is that US used gas chambers, and some states still have the eletric chairs as a 2nd method of kill although not used. US holds the largest (or one of largest) Prison population in the world and the conditions are very bad, but the people forget that and blame NK for things that not even happened. The only genocide in Korean soil was genocide that US used more bombs in Korea than used in WWII.

@The3rdPlateau Continuation ONE
Its not ruled by one person, its a 3 people system. The highest post is hold in this moment by Kim Yong Nam, in other words he is DE FACTO head of state of North Korea (not Kim Jong Il) like Obama in US. Choe Yong Rim is the premier and Finally Kim Jong Il that holds the post of Chairman in the National Defence Comission (chief of armed forces to be clear). So the power is more divided than in US where Obama is the head of state and commands armed forces.
-
3° NO, isnt a dictatorship if you want or not. Its not ruled by one person, your statement only makes clear that you dont know NK political system very well. They have the Supreme Peoples Assembly where the people are elected by peoples vote. Citzens can decide who will ran out, different of western countries where PARTY decides who is the candidate even if you dislike that politician. (continue ONE)

@The3rdPlateau The UN resolutiuon says that any country is free to decide their political system. Its a right, no one have obligation to emulate US system.
-
1° They Hold elections, not with same rules of western countries but they hold elections.
2° NO ONE is obliged to have a multiparty system although North Korea have 3 parties: Labour Party, Social-Democrats and Chodon'ists (religious) in coalition system. The people made a revolution to follow their desired way so they will use their methods and no one can question. USA have only two parties de facto one right-wing and other extreme right wing.
I agree friend, some people knows nothing about DPRK but talk they talk like an "expert".
