Just something I threw together. I actually called Steve Somers to request this once at 4 AM. All the images are of the actual people Danny mentions in the song except the bunt shots. I did this for my Dad who was a big Brooklyn Dodgers fan til they left for the West coast. The video was done out of love for the game - not intended for profit.

The game is not real, but all the people mentioned are.

Thanks for your comments! Is "Casey at the Bat" really on the flipside of the 45?

That wasn't due to the rivalry. That was two drunken thugs who weren't true Dodger fans.

One of my all time favorite Baseball songs. I know every word.

The biggest fact and irony is this song was released in 1962 when the Dodgers Faltered and the GIANTS WON THE PENANT! Dodgers were so much more successful in Los Angeles than Brooklyn! The key to the record is the cadence of the names. Not the logic of the game.

The Dodgers will always be Brooklyn.

I thought Miller was a middle reliever, fairly low on the depth chart. My bad.

Yes, but it's done with a fake Japanese accent.

Why would you say that? It was very plausible. Haller was starting catcher and Hiller was the starting second baseman. Miller was often put in to close out victories and hold leads, particularly if Jack Sanford was the starter.

Yes, it's Danny reciting Casey At The Bat in a Japanese voice.
