This was a casual Sunday early afternoon float that I took with my friend and her mother to get some sunshine and fish a little bit. We were rewarded with a nice acrobatic Willamette River summer steelhead. This was a hot summer steelhead that took to the air several times with a few nice runs also. It took the fly at about 3 pm on a Sunday afternoon, and turned the nice sunny casual float into a super action packed moment. Not bad for a lazy Sunday in the Eugene, Oregon area.
