I was once on a live-fire for a Stinger missile and the missile booster fired, launching the missile out of the tube, but the sustainer motor did not fire immediately. The missile nose-dived into the ground, flipped over pointing back at us, THEN the sustainer motor fired.
Anyone remember "Benny Hill"?
That was us.
