I'd trade my 75 Cutlass Supreme auto with 350 for this one since it's a manual! What a rare combination that I've only read about before seeing this video! Thanks for posting it! He even has the rare "Vacuum Fuel Economy" optional Gauge set.

@Parsec994a That manual transmission is definitely attractive..but note the comment of steelbeltsdrumming about the matter of power for the 260..now if it had a 350! Glad you like! This was evidently sold as an attempt as a high gas mileage car. I remember full sized Olds that also had an "economy" model. Thanks! :) Jack

@raconter1 With looks like that, you don't need to go that fast. I'd trade my 9-11mpg for this anyday. The 350 in stock form in 75 is nothing too powerful either. Once I rebuild it, that might be a different story, but right now it's thirsty and factory detuned. It's not the 350 from 72 and before. I've looked at a lot of these cars and I've never seen that rear exhaust bumper. Is that the Intl series bumper? If so it there must be very few Intl series.

@Parsec994a That's certainly true of vintage 75 350's...detuning had taken effect. I wish I could comment on the rear exhaust bumper...I don't know enough about these cars to comment on that. However, the gas mileage advertised for the 231 V6 was 17 city, 25 hwy, 105 h.p. The 260 has the h.p. figure of 110. Thanks! :) Jack

The 260 V8 was an indestructible motor but very weak and underpowered, even in much smaller cars

@steelbeltsdrumming Thanks for the insight on that...this was a pretty heavy car, and I could see how a 260 engine would not be up to the task! Thanks! :) Jack
