  • I did a similar thing with .22 lr cartridges, using the strike anywhere match heads as the compound that was poured into the base of the case. I can reload the shells infinitely as they are low pressure and are very soft and easy to re form. I use to have a video showing a subsonic load using a reloaded .22 lr cartridge.

  • @delstacy24 Sorry if i'm bothering you, but just one more question, does the dowel rod go in the center?

  • @MrCherubhair1 The only reason it wouldn't work on a shotgun shell is that the plastic walls of the shell would compress. if you cut a big dowel rod the length of the shell and put it in there you have something to press against.
