Swedes always win.

Early period: pike formation with light infantry ahead, stakes laid, two light cannons in front of the main line (the enemy can't resist that bait) and flanking centuries of cavalry.

i love playing sweden taking all of the norse/nordic/skandinavian countries and then sending my entire army to america helping the natives!

@Hackymac can't have been fresh since it was so tiny. Chances are, it took a crapload of damage, started to rout, and then regrouped.

The other guy wasn't bad at all. He managed to take out a lot of key units before the battle lines clashed, such as macedon's general right off the bat and half his artillery.
