Solar power consumer Diana Ungerleider talks with Bill Whitaker about the savings she's incurred by using solar energy in her home. Ungerleider also discusses her motivation for going green.
Great video from the purely consumer-oriented, average-person (non-techno) perspective. I liked it.
Showing how the system saves money, and pays for itself in about ten years is really the best part, I think. Our states should be emulating California in order to avoid power shortages and promoting long-term thinking and prosperity, not obstructing the move toward self-reliance with outmoded building codes. Too many "public" servants are compromised by the big coal, nuke & oil lobbies.
Great stuff, why is it so expensive though, ?
