i was just wondering what i should do for my aquarium its 10' x 2' x 18" i decided to start with a small aquarium, could i just add filter floss to your design for mechanical filtration? would general bio balls work for bio filtration i get them for free (my dad is a life support op) and if so how much? and could i switch out the ceramic media for about 60 or 70 pounds of activated carbon? thanks!

@jeremiah36100 Yes, in some of my more recent videos, i go over how much media is needed, and what GPH rating to look for. I never move a female from the tank. I sometimes section the male off, but never move a pregnant female. She gives birth in the tank.

ever try to calculate how much filtration you really have going on.....and would you say that enough for the rays or would you need more?....also (sorry for multiple questions) do you let the females have the pups in the tank or do you isolate in another tank?
