Brunswick Carolier Lanes in North Brunswick, NJ hosted this year's US Open bowling tournament. Here's part 1 of the semifinal match. Mika Koivuniemi, the 2001 US Open champ takes on the 2006 US Open champ Tommy Jones
I believe Earl Anthony would adjust his game and use current technology to his advantage, since he was so great. It is just as difficult now as it was then, due to the extremely difficult and sometimes unpredictable oil patterns. It takes massive talent to adjust ball speed, ball hook rating, release style, etc. Then it was pretty much straight up the lane and much less confusing. I think most of you are comparing a house shot of today to one of old, however, pro shots are another subject
@kingwillie206 True man, my coach is 83, winning his divisions in tournaments, and has completely changed his game since he won a big army bowling tournament back in the 50's. Now he's throwing a virtual gravity left to right, not rolling rubber straight up 10.
@SayrevilleBombers18 Is this for real??? Are you ALL that stupid, or is this just one guy with different usernames. My hope is the latter, or else in five years everyone will look like Mika and bowl for Blue Chip Stamps.
20alphabet stop trying to be such a know it all and seem professional by using large words. But I have to say I'll take earl anthony over anybody in the world today.
