Before Elmo, it was THE Street. A regular city street with trash around the cans, muppets doing outrageous things and not being pressured by parental groups, and, of course, Count Von Count able to have his powers intact--along with maniacal fiendish laughter! Kids weren't pussies back then and they were rewarded with some good stuff.

This proves that old school Sesame Street was without a doubt the best toddler show EVER back in the day. Now it just sucks. But this was awesomeness personified! Plus, I loved that the majority of sound bites from this is used in "Kookies" by MF DOOM! I LOVE IT!
