Watch one of my Pollock inspired abstract drip paintings being created. Large works of art are great fun but need concentration. The soundtrack is provided by Basement Jaxx. See the finished painting in all it's detail on my website.

  • Thanks CoolHeartedMan1979, really appreciate that!

  • Thanks Rotem0020. These paints were oil based household paints with some enamels mixed in!!!

  • Thankyou Daniel - I don't ever try to be - I just like the style he painted in. I use his techniques as a motivational tool and a means to inspire myself to see where it will take me. I too have seen many of his works and have taken great joy from that but you are correct, I am no Pollock and I am very, very grateful for that!

  • Not really that well to be honest. They won't flow very well and they will dry too quickly unless you add an extending medium to them. You can start with oil based household paints and go from there really! Hope that helps..

  • @TheSwarez Can I ask what you were painting on? I know some use household objects like bed sheets and such. Is this a sheet or just a canvas roll?

  • @DINOLOVER6717 Hey! It's proper artists' canvas. You can get it from any good artists supplies store or no doubt from an internet shop!. I prime raw canvas cloth three times to make sure the surface is right before i start painting. Again, you can get good primer from an art supplies store. Hope that helps!
