daily struggles. She has watched him check his blood sugar and give himself insulin while strangers look on staring at him as though he is doing something wrong. All he wants to do is be NORMAL and he is an awesome kid, but others at time make him feel so weird. anyway I could probably write a million other reasons why this song is important to my daughter and why she sang it but I think I have said enough. I think with songs 100 people will have 100 different ideas of it's meaning.

understand what I am trying to get across to you. My daughter is pretty but unfortunately a handful of girls made her feel like the ugliest person on earth. Luckily with a strong support system at home she didnt let it break her. She became a stronger more confident person and when she heard this song she knew this was the one for this particular show. I am her Mom and I can tell you that she carefully chose this song after being bullied at school by MEAN Girls that make fun of others for every single little flaw they thought she had. This was her way of holding her heading up high and letting those people know that there is more to life than looks and that there is inner beauty that these girls will never both to know about. I personaly think she could be BIG at broadway or something but she isn't very good at this song. =Lacey has a very talented voice and it does take alot of guts to go up in front of that many people and sing such a high and long streached note but this isn't a very good song for her/: Sorry Lacey but I'm being Simon right now.

Your daughter is beautiful in every way. I am very glad thos girls didnt get to her! I had to encounter the same thing as her, except mine was for being fat and ugly. Kids can be so cruel these days cant they? Shes beautiful and a very talented singer. :D
