David Barton - the evangelical minister and political activist who has no credentials as an historian? If he's 'one of the most knowledgable American History experts' that you know, you need to start reading more, and maybe even take a college level history course. David Barton is a highly biased man with an agenda... not exactly historian material.

u asked us to google him... if you didn't want us to know what a hack this guy is you shouldn't have asked. Or if you want people to believe you, you should come up with better support for your arguments.
BTW what are Bartons academic credentials? What organizations has/does he belong to and what jobs has he held?..... Does the answers to any of those questions make him seem like an unbiased source for this discussion?

Yes, and *real* academics will acknowledge this and strive to not let their personal bias and political/religious affiliations affect their work.... This does not describe Barton.
AFA evidence, again... your source is biased, and is not backed up by any real evidence. When he was caught at lying, Barton admitted to making up quotes from our founding fathers. Those quotes that he made up just happen to support his agenda. His excuse?: that's what the founding fathers *would* have said... fail

also, the argument that violence has increased since prayer was removed from school doesn't even make sense logically. Prayer was never "removed" from schools, kids are, and always have been, allowed to pray in schools. Kids can from their own prayer/christian groups: only restriction is they cant disrupt regular school activities and they cant be formed or led by employees of the school (read: employees of the state). Also, since when have students relied on school to teach them morality?
