Perhaps the reason loyalists don t like to hear of the "glorious Easter Rising" is because tens of thousands of men from Ireland both Catholic and Protestant were fighting and dying in France and other countries. Many who came home from this war were shot in the back by the IRA, and those murders hailed as state heroes for a time until your government started to execute IRA men because they considered them traitors! That's why we remember MEN who fought for freedom and their brothers.
