Anyway, boys stay with dad every summer and I was with them alot 2 summers ago. I made a 'star chart' and for every night he didn't rock he would get a star. If he filled the chart up by the end of the week I would take him to get a gift or ice cream ect. Within 1 week he went from rocking 7 nights a week to 0. O!...all summer. Then he went back to his mothers and he went back to rocking 7 nights cuz she won't do the chart . Hes 12 now and still rocks every night to this day. Star charts work.

@mrspacemanlee lol this is so funny... yeah sometimes I don't rock... I can make myself not do it, especially if I'm at a place where it would be weird if I did... cuz I think my brain understands where it's "safe" to do it and where it's "embarrassing" to do it... so yeah I'm sure if I was getting bribed every week, I'd stop as long as the gifts kept coming! ;) thanks for the story!! add me on my other channel: mandapop (if you want. My best friends 10 yr old boy rocks in his bed. (parents divorced btw) Doing it since he was a baby cuz his mother told him to keep doing it cuz it will help him fall asleep faster. Only problem is his little brother sleeps in the same room and it drives him CRAZY!! Drives every one else crazy too cuz you can hear his bed banging against the wall...all night. So i came up with a remedy using a 'star' chart...
