@LordFireSire Actually, it's not a sequel to G1, it's a continuation of G1, this aired in Japan after Transformers ended here. The Japanese were getting the same Transformers dubbed into their language at the same time we were watching it here. They ignored The Rebirth 3 part (season 4, TF finale here) and launched Headmasters, keeping G1 alive for several years.
