Purina Incredible Dog Challenge National Championships

The Purina Incredible Dog Challenge National Championships, now in its 11th year of competition, showcases exceptional canine athletes of all breeds and sizes vying for national titles in a variety of Olympic style events.

The Purina Incredible Dog Challenge is considered one of the premiere canine sporting events in the world that consistently yields world-record breaking feats by some of the most talented canines in the country. The airing of the competition includes exciting action in the following events:

• Incredible Dog Diving: Graceful athletes land jumps of record distances into a 19,000-gallon pool of water. One to watch: Callie, a black lab sets a new world record!
• Incredible Agility: Canine competitors race against the clock through an intricate obstacle course. Ones to watch: The Border Collies have the focus and the concentration thats tough to beat.
• Incredible Jack Russell Hurdle Racing: Diminutive Terriers sprint fearlessly over hurdles towards the finish line. Ones to watch: All of them if you can keep up with them as they fly by on the screen.
• Incredible 60 Weave Pole: Head-to-head competition as dogs weave in and out of 60 feet of poles. One to watch: A one-eyed canine competitor that races through the weaves as good as the rest of the pack to place in the Top 3.
• Incredible Freestyle Flying Disc: Canines and their owners perform a 2½-minute routine of aerial maneuvers and remarkable flying disc catches set to music. One to watch: A new breed takes home the top honor for the first time in the 10 year history of this Challenge event.

The broadcast will air on ABC on Saturday, January 24 at 2:00pm ET.
