This is just a test recording using a GuitarHero microphone and my ENGL Screamer. I'm pretty happy with the result and I'm planning to do a full-song cover of A Nightmare to Remember.

Gear used:
- Ibanez RG2550z WH (Awesome!)
- ENGL Screamer 50 Combo (Awesome!)
- GuitarHero microphone (Not so awesome, but it does its job...)
- MIDI-backing from GuitarPro

I used the "Heavy Lead, Hi Gain"-channel with this settings:

- Lead: 9
- Bass: 7
- Middle: 5
- Treble: 5
- Lead Presence: 5
- Reverb: Off
