Those are flares, not chaff (chaff is something completely different), coming off of what appears to be a standard C-130

@tina6581 Chaff is one thing - small aluminum foil pieces that try to confuse radar guided missiles, while flares are high-temp decoys that distract infrared (heat-seeking) weapons...

Yes they are chaff flares. Their intended to defeat heat seeking SAMs. Very pretty. Shame the display has got such a deadly reason behind it.
