@MrWeedpatch I have two friends who played in Jerry Lee Bands's and the stories they tell are like something out of a novel. And yes, He was really Hell on drummers, The only person who could tolerate him and stayed with him was Kenny Lovelace.

back in Florida around 1973 our drummer got a chance to go see the killer and he said pretty much the same thing. Jerry was yelling at his drummer about the tempo. If you listen to most of Jerry's fast stuff it starts out at a reasonable clip and he's going like a bat out of hell when he finished. But he may do that on purpose at any rate I think he's great and certainly an original....
