This 60's rock song is played on oldies radio today, but is hard to find on good sounding digital formats when compared to clean LP vinyl from my own experience.

Transferred to digital using stereo components on my background channel photo.

  • Uploader...You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!! Some Songs are Best as the Vinyl Versions. They are not reproduced correctly. I've tried it with better results, because even with my Originals, in the Studio & Live Performances, I'm a Perfectionist.Getting back to Vinyl, I Honestly believe that it has to do with the Vibration of the Stylus in the Groove that gives an Ambience & Resonance that can't be copied.I read something about it in a Music Mag. @ Recording way after I thought of that. So, we're right

  • @desico

You might be correct about that!! I don't know how the laser turntables sound as they don't have mechanical contact with grooves like a regular stylus, and they are quite costly to invest in for me at the moment!! My cousin feels the same way about cassettes in that the mechanical tape-head contact gives it the sound he likes. I hope they don't kill off all analog formats now that analog TV is gone, they are hinting at eliminating analog AM-FM radio as well...Friends, Lloyd.

  • I had completely forgotten this tune and the group. Is this where the term "Bubblegum Music" came from? Thanks much for the upload and the memories. Special thanks for keeping the "old" music alive.

  • @greasegun49

You are welcome, and I am not sure if this is the group where that Bubblegum phrase came from, but it was at the time the phrase started...Thank you for checking it out...Friends, Lloyd.

  • l have this single, love it. thanks for clip, cheers

  • Back in 1968 I was totally embarrassed to admit that I liked bubblegum music. Not so any more...I'll admit it, this is one of my all-time favorite songs. There. I said it!

  • @CherrySlush1 don't feel bad, a lot of us love it

  • @lrh1966 yes I believe it was one of the bubblegum

  • I bought this 45 vinyl with my meager allowance when I was 11, about 100 years ago! Man, I'm old!

  • +1 on the digital transfer. It always involves a remix that is 'cleaner and clearer', but seems to lose the character of the old vinyl, not to mention the AM radio vibe that most of us remember these songs by.
