I don't believe it, you have captured a Grebe surfacing.
If your Panten died, what would you replace it with?

@Himasas The surfacing grebe was a lucky shot: as one dived it's partner came up - incidentally these grebes had their nest destroyed by coots who robbed the material for their own use, it's probably too late for the grebes to start breeding again this year due to those Groucho like, indiscriminate daisy eaters :(
If my Panten died I would replace it with a Pansixty....

@robblac I do: 1080i 17Mbps, then resize to 720p and compress to 5Mbps Sony AVC for uploading here.
What bit rate do you use for 1080? I found that to get a good encoding with 1080 here on YouTube either I had to upload 17Mbps m2ts (or MTS) raw files or at least 8 to 10Mbps VBR 1080p H.264 (Sony AVC .mp4) See my video "(1)20091016_145930.m2ts"
