If you are a larger than normal person, you can forget about dining in the car there. You won't fit in the tiny space between the table and seat.

The waiter in the blue suit was my server on a recent trip on the southbound Silver Meteor, from Jacksonville to Orlando.

@trainfan1143 Now that explains why the dining hall is so nice. Silver star (and Silver meteor) travels between NYC and Miami.
