A great finish to a very entertaining tournament.

Just wanted to say thanks for supporting this channel and watching the previous 15 days. I hoped you enjoyed this basho as much as I did. And of course you should come back in July to see if Hakuho can make it 6 in a row.

Cheers!

  • Thanks, Jason! (By the way, kenezaki took the words right out of my mouth: where's reliable hpeterswald?)

Hakuho can't be blamed for Asashoryu's (un)justly forced retirement, but, boy, how bored he must be when he troubles himself to look around the dohyo for some guys to 'really' play with. To annoy me even more, insufferable Kisenosato goes and breaks his streak.

    How I handle it I don't know...

  • @7elmig Hpeterswald had his acct suspended for copyright. Sad.

  • Thanks for all your effort this month. It's been great.

I felt so sorry for Hakuho not breaking the wins record, but you could tell the pressure was starting to become impossible

  • @qatdude yeah - in an interview Monday he just kept talking about how tired he is, and how much he wants to rest

  • thank you jason

  • Thanks Jason you are the real Samurai from Japan!!

  • Jason, Thank you again and again for your excellent sumo videos!

  • I agree Jason. I think the nerves may have gotten to Toyonoshima. He still had a fantastic basho and look forward to see how he follows up this performance next basho. Good luck Toyonoshima. If anything, I think he has brought more attention to himself. Like I said before, before this basho I never really paid much attention to him until now. Also, what was wrong with that announcer guy? Kaio? Couldn't pronounce mawashi? LOL.

  • Thanks again, Jason! I appreciate your efforts in bringing us sumo and I really like hearing your commentary. This has been one of the most entertaining sumo tournaments I've seen in a long time.

  • @schattenmondritter you can always contact me here on YouTube at my main channel - Myargonauts - if this channel every unexpectedly goes away.
