The Daily Record has found a recording of Boyle singing "CRY ME A RIVER" from a limited 1999 charity CD, partly funded by the tiny WHITBUM COMMUNITY COUNCIL in West LOTHIAN where she lives. Only pressed 1,000 copies of The Millennium Celebration compilation. Eddie Anderson the man responsible for putting the CD together, said he knew he had found something special when Susan auditioned. "I was amazed when she sang, " Eddie said. It was probably the same reaction as everyone had last Saturday.
I wouldn't want to change myself too much because that would really make things a bit false," she told CNNs on Friday April 17, 2009. "I want to receive people as the real me, a real person."
