It really is so simple isn't it? just put a bit more in, but MUCH less than what it would cost for insurance premiums, meds, care that is not covered or capped, etc , why is anyone even complaining of this is beyond me! they shout freedom of choice and govt intrusion/stealing, but that is actually happening more NOW , that would NOT happen with single payer!

are suplied with the gama-globulin.
think about how many days you live divide it by 2 and times it by $100.
the cover on the single payer solution would be awful on such a circumstance. this one circumstance is luckly very rare but there are many rare cases.
some things are not possible to fix.

this is a really good video.
what i do think is that the coverage that obama wants is more needed in certain cases whilst this idea will be more usefull for the majority.
say you have hopogamaglobulin anemia. you would be needing 10ccs of gama globulin every day. this gosts about $100 a pop and you will need it for the rest of your life there is no cure and in some countries is traet as a terminal illness even though you can have it and live a compleatly normal life provided you...

Tax rates aren't higher in Canada. I have an interesting perspective - I am Cdn, live in Canada & I work in the US. I have health coverage in both but use my Amer coverage b/c I am in the US in the daytime. If anything happens at night - I go to my doctor in Canada. Back to the taxes - I pay taxes in the US and then I file in Canada, I get rebated for what I pay in the US. For 10 years now, my taxes in the US have been so high that I haven't had to pay in Canada. I am of medium income.

As a Canadian i am sure you can talk to anyone here and find ER waits are incredible. Major surgeries the same. But the vast space in between we are fortunate to have. There are tons of misinformation. Taxes are murder, yes. But small change when broken limbs, or serious infections need quick attention. We can see a doctor every day, xrays, everything medical covered. When you have kids, it is more relieving. One card swipe and everything is covered. Then go home. My experiences have been good.
One more point was the incredible 'brain drain' that devastated our system starting in the 90s. Doctors and nurses were lured by the money to be made in the US and the great sign on bonuses. Many surgeons left, so our waits got longer. Mixed now with retiring ones. The last few years has become better. Good vid. Taxes should be given to benefit the people. We'd have it no other way. Make the US insurance companies let go!

Thanks for commenting. I was hoping some Canadians would chime in. I has hoping to get first hand experience input. America suppresses these issues and tries to invoke fear to avoid change. Because some entities find it very comfortable, very enriching.
