2003 Daytona 500 Ryan Newman Flip

Ward Burton gets into the back of Ken Schrader, causing a 3 car pile up with Newman flipping 3 and a half times. Newman is okay, but the car isn't. His rear axle flies out and stays intact. Bobby Labonte and Ken Schrader had a pit road colison but both continued.

Newman had a crash eerily similar to this just today, except this time he first over vertically onto Kevn Harvick's hood before tumbling like you see in this video, and then again coming to rest upside down. This time, they needed to turn the car over and rip the roof of the car off before he could pop out like a jack-in-the-box.
