Antique Jumeau Automaton of a Mandolin Player by Roullet & DeCamps
While music plays the doll moves from side to side, strums her mandolin, all the while she's tapping her meet to the music. Circa 1890's.
Redressed in 1800's fabrics by the one and only Mary Lambeth, who is not only an amazing reproduction doll artist but also a costumer of the highest regards in the antique doll community.
Excellent job, Mary!

  • I would guess her value to be in the 3 to 4k range. She was an anniversary gift from my hubbs. She didn't work very well when I recieved her but with a little tinkering she now works perfectly. These toys were built to last.
