  • And what brand do u recommend

  • @pomonass1 I've used Bosch for damn near everything I've use my router with. They arent cheap, but they last longer thatn the cheap stuff, If you dont do alot of wood woodworking though and youre borrowing a router I stick with the cheapest you can find. You could expect to spend upwards of 50 bucks for a single Bosh carbide bit depending on where you buy it.

  • It's gonna be a 1/2" x 1/2" bearing driven Rabbiting bit. I suggest a carbide bit. You won't find a bit for cutting metal, everything for a router is implied wood cutting unless stated otherwise. The aluminum wheels are soft enough these bits will work but you want to cut a little at a time, don't cut the full depth on the first pass.

  • Do you know how to enlarge the center bore to fit a QX4? The entire center has to be enlarged.

  • @Craig1938 , Sorry Craig I dont, I've never messed with the QX4 wheels. Without knowing the exact specs or how much material needed to be removed I wouldnt even want to quess.

  • Glad it helped!

  • I just did it with a Bosch and the went out quick

  • as a machinist and a mini trucker... what your doing looks incredible sketchy. Any viewers of this video, please, please, please find a local machine shop with the proper tools and training to do this right. Paying a professional is cheaper than a hospital visit.

  • Will this work on 17" Chrome escalade wheels

  • Where can I get bit at and what is it called
