I think i wrote here yesterday and said there was an agro pastoral tradition in Spain when I meant a sylvo pastoral, though as they have wheat feilds in flat low lying peices of land this includes grain growing agro too, the sheep left at night on arable land to fertilise them, sheep whose main pastures are in the forests of evergreen oak trees with acorns to fatten, leaf as fodder and wood for fires, or pines for wood or hard wood junipers whose trunks serve as beams and berries as fodder.

- in every case where i have raised awareness of what things are toxic and health-destroying, anytime it is to people who don't already practice those things - they aren't just openly hostile to me (they are the same scum conspiracy stalking me online with their 10000s of scab channels etc), they literally go out of their way to do the wrong things more often and worse. inc. family.
people have to save themselves, from within their own brains, inside their own skulls.

- example - recently i had a job working with this place the-trust doing electronics recycling. they are one of those places with all the adverts and photos saying how good for the community and sustainable they are - but they killed the bramble bushes they had on site (tesco down the road selling them for loads of money picked from toxic farms..) and they couldn't even be arsed to have compost heaps. & always against any info to make things better. hostile to it openly.

cheers. but i don't know anyone ever that's been open to truth, anyone i knew who was alright - they already agreed with all the important stuff like being ecologically sound.
if they don't educate kids right along these kinds of lines from earliest school-age on, they tend to just become unsaveable and only interested in pathetic evil consumer culture, like the millions of idiots at this website obsessed with pointless crap while their world decays around them.

yea man i agree, the world would be a far better place if children were given the choice of learning this amazing stuff.
i want to reccomend a permaculture video to you that i am currently watching, its really good. it might be so good that if you showed enough people they can learn now what they didnt at school.

- there's millions of medicinal plants. the traditional western herbal medicine plants are obviously most suited to climate in the UK as they grow there naturally for ages already. but you can grow chinese tibetian indian herbal plants, any, as long as they are ok in the chosen climate, or you make amends so that they have needed growing conditions.
-
- terrace it, or design the eventual planting so the bottom of the slope plants are more frost tolerant & heavier water feeders. green manure it & add natural sand and rock chips, rock dust (things for improving drainage & conditioning soil). many herbs enjoy that kind of dry summer soil.
what grows on it justnow, what types of grasses flowers? you can green-manure using those since they are there already, it just means digging them into the soil to breakdown in it.

Interesting and informative- thanks for sharing! We at OneCommunityRanch ( dot org) are building a sustainable community in a forest in the United States and accepting members. We will be utilizing permaculture, aquaponics, building eco homes and share all plans open source freely with the world to show a new way to live. Come to our site and tell us what you think. Thanks for your video!
