  • @hablerz

Check out the appendices in Martin's book 'Creating a Forest Garden' (using 'Look Inside' on Amazon). I was amazed how many trees and shrubs have edible parts that we normally don't bother to eat.

  • @hablerz i believe it is a much more dense low maintenance form of gardening. For example you would have large fruit/nut trees with bushes/edible plants growing underneath in a viable ecosystem.

as opposed to planting just fruit trees in an orchard and killing everything else underneath.

  • What exactly is he growing of use in this garden - is medicinal plants a euphemism for pot? . It doesnt seem very productive in terms of food output, having nice trees is one thing but where is the food coming from?
