May I ask which difficult level did you set your Mugen? Because Jones fights like he's in level 4 or lower, since he's AI-less and depends on Mugen's AI.
I recommend you first practice a lot with a character, learn his moves - both specials and supers - and then decide if you want him in your team or not according to your 'training'.
Button smashing an AI-less character isn't a good way, trust me.

I'm sorry, but you suck playing as him.
You seem to attack randomly, you just press buttons, and you wasted the advance two times.
You didn't used any special or super, that's just not good.
Congratulations for beating an AI-less character.
