I am a malware removal expert, this program is very dangerous to use without consent from a trained professional as combo fix can reduce your computer to a pile of trash if used wrongly and combofix doesn't get everything you have to make scripts to remove remaining malware left in the log.

@TheSmartestTaco The same thing happened with me, MBAM wouldn't work and I used combofix. It was late at night. the next morning, my computer was fine, but IE kept saying that I would be "exiting a secure internet connection" when I tried going somewhere. Do you know what this may mean?

I would also like to add, only use it as a last resort. Try traditional anti-malware first like Malwarebytes anti malware and other similar programs.

I had an unusally potent virus on my PC, and it disabled all of my anti-virus software, damaged all of my drivers some how, and I couldn't run anything pretty much.

So I went in to safe mode, ran combofix, and as the name say's it fixed everything.

I had it mess up one time though, and it removed several key system files.

@freedombiteback no my antivirus would let me it was telling me to delete my antivirus or something but it got malwarebytes instead it actually worked
