course work, what was the problem?

I still have original game i mean red CD i bought 10 years ago not release and work on XP. Game run normally but i can't use that view or other, except bumper view i can use. With other camera view is incredibly choppy. Only this is a problem and game is not crashing at all. What do i need to run this game with no problem? Thanks for help.

my box for Mobil 1 Rally Championship tells me it works on 95, 98, ME and XP. It doesnt work on my version updated to SP1, 2 or 3 though, and the last install I tried damaged my system (It kept telling me I did not have admin permission to access ANY files or programs on the computer whatsoever-and wouldnt let me use system restore either).

Obviously there will be *some* older games that work with newer versions of Windows. But users shouldn't be surprised when a game they own doesn't work with a newer version of Windows. Its impossible to future-proof a game. Why doesn't my copy of Eraser work on XP? Because it wasn't *MADE* for XP. XP didn't even exist when that came out. Am I surprised? No, and neither should you be :)

@ShannyHungary i have it working as well and im telling you,there's no way I'm gonna lose the game,found the game today in 1 of my car mags :D lucky day

It works for me, without changing anything, sp3 xp prof. Though, you could try to change the compatibility mode of the setup file to win98/Me, may fix it. If not, there's something with the OS, if worked, run the exe in compatibility mode as well. It solved problems with plenty of games from around 98-01 on xp (this one's 99).
