MasyaAllah, Br Dr Zaid, 100% agree. My son used to at the age of 4, heard the whispers to do harm to himself and I advised to him to say " a'uzubillah..." everytime this happened and that stopped those harmful whispers. Then the bad thought about God kept coming to him and I advised him to say " a'uzubillah..." and again the bad thoughts stopped. Now at eleven years old syukur Alhamdulillah, my son recite Ayat Kursi everytime after solah and at bedtime and doing very well in school. Subhanallah

oh my goodness all these symptoms relate to me ,especially when you mentioned evil thoughts popping in your mind like about allah swt the prophets and the holy qur'aan all satan trying to provoke you!.
and all the symptoms like excessive washing i used to wash my fingers excesively because if there was a little hair there,but alhamdulilah god has saved me from looking like the person on the picture and that it hasnt got that bad
