A Unisonic Tournament 100 circa 1976 -- not working -- and a Coleco/Radofin Tele-Sports Mini, circa 1978 -- working fine, with original box. Both are most likely based on GE's infamous "Pong on a chip" IC.

Pong was the first hugely successful video game, popular enough in the '70s to support its own entire genre of home consoles. Even after cartridge-based systems like the Atari 2600 and Intellivision took over the marketplace, dedicated pong consoles remained popular until the early '80s -- adding color and additional game variations -- as a low-priced alternative.

  • @monkeyjoshua15 Thanks for watching... I appreciate it! :-)

  • I just found the Radofin Tele-Sports Mini at Goodwill for $1. I plugged it in, but it doesn't seem to be working. I tried it on a more modern TV though (not HD though). Does it have to be an older tv to work? Also, I'm not sure if it's PAL or NTSC. I guess since it was only a dollar, it doesn't matter, but I'd like to know.

  • Make sure you're plugging it into the TV's antenna/cable RF input, not the composite video input jack. You will need a switchbox or plug adapter, as I show in the video.

  • 3:38 It goes right thru the paddle because score 15 is "game over" and to continue playing, you must reset the console =)

  • Hi there jboypacman I was taking a walk down memory lane with my girlfriend today and remembered having this same system on a shelf in the closet. My parents bought it for my brothers and I, I think x-mas 1976, and it still works fine. BTY.... your gun/rifle connection isn't missing a pin, Mine has only 4 as well. Crazy to see people nastagic enough to play these neat old systems. Kids don't know how good they have it these days. Talk with you soon. Gary
