ITY Tribal Youth SD 7.1.09 Day 5 PM

The Native Kingdom of Organics is Tribal at heart and we thank Pauma Tribe for purchasing a large commercial organic farm to ensure to real wealth to our future generations. Youth learned about organic farming techniques with Pauma's Tierra Miguel Foundation. Can natural food taste this good? Many youth need a break from processed food and poisoned fruits. We continue to keep it real and pesticide free.
After, we migrate back up to the mountains and play along the river before our music class and guest performance by Dr. Alan Lechusza's (La Jolla Luiseno/Maidu) ensemble. Youth credited this performance with lifting their spirits and helping them through tough times. Music is healing and with the right environment its quantum. We were in very good company under the oaks. Like the Mighty Oak that began life as a tiny acorn that stood its ground. Thank you La Jolla Council, Camground and Pauma for sacred grounds to teach.
