@schokolade92 In Mazury region, on south bank of Nidzkie Lake, there is a village called Karwica. I'am not sure of the meaning, but it it is quite common in Poland, Czechia : Karvia, Karvina etc. I am sure, the meaning can be detected.

Almost every name here is slavic, polabian. Even in german transcription I know what means such names as Gartow, Glienitz, Laasche, Liepe and so on. Greetings for germanised Slavs living there. Especially if they know their roots. You can be proud of your history, principality of Obodrites, prince Niklot and beautiful language. Dübra nüc :)

Tolstefanz ist polnisch/polabisch Tłustowąs (zum deutsch Fett-Schnurrbart
Penkefitz ist Pankowice (zum deutsch mehr oder weniger ist Krautjunkendorf).
