Classic Game Room HD reviews BLACK SIGIL BLADE OF THE EXILED for Nintendo DS. This old school style role playing game packs more than 30 hours of gameplay into a the DS game cart with extensive worlds to explore, weapons to buy and skills to learn. It has an 8-bit style.. or more like 16-bit style top down view as you explore environments and engage in random boss encounters. You play as a character without magic in a land of magic and people fear and resent him, yet he's out to save to the day! Beat the crap out of monsters with swords and recruit friends to join your parts. Fans of old school adventure Japanese style RPGs and role playing games may enjoy Black Sigil Blade of the Exiled for it's high quality writing and enemy encounters. This CGRHD review of Black Sigil Blade of the Exiled for Nintendo DS has gameplay footage from Black Sigil Blade of the Exiled for Nintendo DS showing game play of this RPG in action.

It actually makes sense. Everyone in that world can use magic and the first person to be born without magic powers managed to cause massive destruction to their world, according to legend. Since the main character is the second to be born without magic, fear of the first resides. Basically, for them to meet someone who can't use magic would be like for any of us to wake up in bed and see Cthulhu laying there. Quite alien and pretty scary due to legends.

  • @GadGades basically but not in a rude way like that lol

  • @VayuPurana Did you just say Chrono Trigger's characters and story sucked?

  • 8 bit lol, it's 16 bit sprites when did anything on nintentdo look like that lol

  • @laughingfurry it's like batman against superman, ahaha

I don't know. There's other ways for a villain to be powerful. Comic books prove this a lot with villains like Lex Luther and The Joker. There's also various anime where the enemy isn't something that can use magic, but someone with incredible strength, Ki, and/or Psy. The magicless characters of Black Sigil obviously have great power not tied to magic. The ability to fight without relying on magic is what's intimidating.

  • @laughingfurry still, the thing about the magicless dude is pretty funny

  • They should fear a powerful magical guy, not a magicless dude

  • battle system is so similar to chrono trigger which is a good thing since its battle system kicked ass unlike its characters and storyline =X=
