arlight after you downlaod metasploit make sure you have these
sudo apt-get install postgresql-8.4
sudo apt-get install rubygems libpq-dev
sudo gem install pg
sudo apt-get install libreadline-dev
sudo apt-get install libssl-dev
sudo apt-get install libpq5
sudo apt-get install ruby-dev
now go here cd /opt/framework-3.6.0/msf3
AND TO START IT TYPE: sudo ./msfconsole

http://metasploit.com/download/

  • I get this error when I try to run the msfconsole:

    "/usr/bin/env: ruby: No such file or directory"

    I'm using Linux Mint 11

    Please help!
