While hiking through some tea field in the mountains of central Japan I found Japanese Mountain Leech (Yama Biru) waiting in ambush along the trail.

yep! now I'm never going to Japan, LOL jk I know creatures like these are everywhere and leaches have helped science and medicine greatly but they are still gross as hell.

Yeah its funny until they sneak their eggs into your body. they eat their way around. then, come out from under your eyelids, out your ass hole and/or your vagina.. they eat heart tissue lung tissue, they eat thru your intestinal wall, thats how they get to your heart and lungs, and uterus. i heard a doctor went there on vacation, he had leeches in him for 6 years until he felt one crawling across his eye. then he died, autopsy revealed a colony of 3,000 in his colon. and 27 in his brain.
