Bali: Pura Penataran Ped on Nusa Penida by Hans and Fifi

In 2009 we visited the Pura Penataran Ped on Nusa Penida for the first time. With our guide, driver and friend Seta, born on the island. In fact the temple, famous for I Mecaling Ratu Gede, for which many Balinese cross over, consists of four temples: Pura Segara, Pura Taman, Pura Ratu Gede and the Pura Penataran Agung, which has to visited in this order, as mentioned on the sign when entering the templecompunds.
