REALLY? That is interesting! I didn't see it until the mid eighties when my employer got it on a couple of our new CAT graders. Deere has always been ahead of their time on some impressive innovations. Thanks for that tidbit of info.
Cheers!

@FlintMich Yeah, I like the Articulation to....good thing Deere invented it in 1965. The 570 Deere was the first motor grader to have it.

Looks like he was using the old "kayak" maneuver to get out - works like a charm!!
I agree about the articulation - it changed the game completely. I was unsure of it at first but once you have it, you'll never want to be without it!!
Awesome video. TFS

@rmrcbharris.......I figured so. My Dad had an older 120G w/o articulation and would get it stuck pretty tight. Your video brings back a lot of memories. Thanks for sharing!
I've plowed snow drifts deeper than this on very narrow roads with a CAT 140G. I never got stuck to the point where I couldn't get out. By utilizing the machine's articulating frame, blade, and the down-pressure of the plow, there was no ditch or snow drift I couldn't work my way out of.
