Johann Stamitz never imagined that a talented group of students from Orange County, NY, would come up with such a unique way of performing his "Sinfonia in A Major for String Orchestra". In this video presentation, select members of the Allegro Youth Orchestra, directed by Viktoras Prizgintas, experienced what it was like to record at Monroe's premier recording studio, Platinum Productions, with Grammy nominated producer/engineer Phil Bulla. With Prizgintas directing, the students, one by one, were recorded and videotaped as they listened to a pre-recorded version of the piece. Bulla's savy music video production talents insued and viola, as if by magic the students were brought together as "one" orchestral voice.

The Stamitz video presentation was also a featured selection in The Allegro Orchestra's June 18th concert which featured guest artist Tao Rodriguez-Seeger. Along with The Allegro Orchestra the talented Seeger performed some of Grandpa Pete Seeger's popular selections including, "Reuben's Train", "The Big Muddy", "Garbage", "Mr. Millions", "Harry Sims", "How Can I Keep From Singing" and "El Carretero"

Also featured in the concert was a video presentation, directed/written my Allegro member Brian Hioe and produced by Platinum Productions. The video brought to light the Darfur conflict, which is the premier humanitarian crisis of the modern world in which over half a million people have been killed and millions displaced as a result of the ethnic cleansing attempted by the Sudanese government.

An emotional yet satisfying conclusion of the concert was marked with a spontaneous audience offering that resulted in a substantial donation to Mr. Hioe's "Make a Change in Darfur" campaign.
