@jasonlloyd33 i have peen playing for about 5 years. i just use the basic rico size 3 reeds. i am thinking of becoming a jazz mucisian, although i do want to put more music on my channel, but i have to get a tuner first.

@KWOOTfluke Thank you so much! Usually vibrato is required for classical style pieces. I am finding that I use it less when playing jazz. I think that it is a subconcious stylistic choice. Thank you for your compliments about my tone. I use a Meyer Metal 6j with Rico Select Jazz 3 reeds. You sound great too keep up the good work. How long have you been playing?

i love your sound! i like the vibrato, is it natural to you or did you put it in there on puropse? But nice prasing, i like your tone and clarity, and the way you transition from your lower register to your higher register!!!! You are now my role model in my sax playing!

This is my favorite Christmas Carol...and you do it justice! Thank you for playing it so beautifully!
Sounds good . It would be better without the steel mouthpiece.

@bszwed Thanks for listening. Although I exclusively use metal mouthpieces, I have been trained and know that a Selmer or Eugene Rousseau with a 3.5 plus reed is ideal for legit playing. I just have never liked the discomfort of playing them. You make yours sound great. Would love to hear you play Paul Creston or Jacques Ibert.

@bszwed I'm sorry I thought the saxophonist featured on your page was in fact you. Perhaps in your opinion it woudl sound better with a different mouthpiece but good or bad it wouldn't sound like me :-)
